- This blog is an online gallery of some of my paintings. My goal is to create and post new work and see my skills improve. My name is Jessie L. Crocker and at times I love to paint. I was 40 years old before picking up a brush. Since then i've painted off and on. I'm more consistant now than ever but still don't paint as often as I should. My goal is to continue learning and improving. I want my paintings to be about composition, color, and brushwork rather than a portrayal of the subject. Here is where i'm at right now.
